On October 17th, 2019 Medicare published a new proposed rule for the "Value Based Enterprise".

The title of the new proposed regulation, which should be finalized in the fall of 2020 is:

Medicare Program; Modernizing and Clarifying the Physician Self-Referral Regulations

This new set of rules and guidance will significantly impact your ability to build out and implement a VBC program with multiple parties involved... which of course is one of the orginal concepts of VBC.

While the document is 82 pages long, it provides a detailed roadmap of how Medicare sees the current challenges of implementation for a VBC clinical model, and how to modify the regulations accordingly.
